Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre

Indoor and outdoor arenas, groomed trails, activity rooms and a herd of well-tempered horses are all part of the special program offered at The Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre. Children and adults, with physical and developmental challenges have the opportunity to nurture independence through a program focused on recreation, horse riding, therapy, life skills and farm-related activities.

The Guelph-based program has been designed to meet individual needs and address various levels of achievement.

Community Living Guelph Wellington

Community Living Guelph Wellington

Adult Rehabilitative Centre Industries (ARC Industries) is one of several programs managed by Community Living Guelph Wellington. It provides employment training and support to over 125 adults in Wellington County who have an intellectual disability.

The program encourages participants to attain employment within the community or at the on-site workshop. The supportive work environment inspires a sense of achievement and self-reliance through the production of quality work. At the same time, participants improve life skills through continuous learning and social interaction.

Hospice Wellington

Hospice Wellington

Hospice Wellington provides compassionate care, emotional support and practical assistance to individuals and families facing a life-threatening illness, extending through bereavement.

Hospice Wellington is a volunteer-centered organization that offers one-to-one emotional support, therapeutic programs, respite care and bereavement support in collaboration with family, physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors and other professionals and community agencies.

Hospice Wellington also provides various levels of training for volunteers within the communities of Guelph and Wellington.
